Discover The Myth – How To Increase Hang Time On The Air
Since I was a little kid, I’ve always dreamed about dunking and flying like Michael Jordan. When I grew up, I started to learn that the definition of flying or hang time is just a simple illusion that we call see especially when we watch the dunks in slow motion. What I’ve come to conclusion is that the higher you jump, the more time you have to stay up there. Watch this video of Jacob Hiller – author of Jump Manual Vertical Program talks about how to increase hang time.
Arguably, he speaks the truth when it comes to the distance that you jump. If you just jump straight up, it doesn’t create that illusion of “floating” as when you run really fast and jump. Also, the movements of your legs and feet while in the air helps create that floating image as well. Kinda looks like you are walking or floating through air.
It is against physics or gravity laws that a man can fly through air. What goes up must come down and it applies to everything on earth. The reason why many people want to learn how to increase hang time is because of all the hype and illusion the media created. Michael Jordan was the greatest player alive but he can only fly for like a split second. That’s because he can jump really really high.
So the only way to increase hang time on the air is to increase your vertical jumping. Some of the exercises that can help you do that is squats, lunges, core exercises, or stair steppers. Check out 7 tips for jumping higher, it is not easy but not impossible either, you need to have some dedication and hard work.

"What I was most surprised about the training program was how little time it took each day to get those kind of results. 2 weeks after doing the training I was jumping higher. I was quicker and dunking easily. My training will never be the same and I would recommend without hesitation to all my team mates. Thanks again." - Stephen W, Canada
"I'm 19 years old and i've been playing basketball all my life. When I was eighteen I reached a plateau on my vertical jump, no matter how much I trained or all the exercises my coaches gave me, I couldnt go an inch higher. I was stuck at a 32 inch vertical. After reading your program and doing the exercises for just two weeks I've increased my jump 5" already, your approach to vertical jump training has already given me a great advantage and I hope it will continue doing the same.
"Hey i just wanted to say thanks for your program its helped alot I've gained 7 inches in my vertical and 5 in my first month and i dunked for the first time. and now i can grab the rim the two hands i just need a couple more inches to dunk consistently. your program has been great thanks. ." - Coleman
